Police Searching for Driver Who Ran Over Headstones at Brady Twp. Cemetery

BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say an incident of trespass by motor vehicle occurred in Brady Township, Clarion County.

Police say unknown perpetrator(s) drove a large vehicle down the center row of the St. Eusebius Cemetery sometime between 3:00 p.m. on January 24 and 10:30 p.m. on January 25.

According to police, as the vehicle approached the end of the cemetery, the driver attempted to turn right before reaching the end of the road and struck two headstones.

The perpetrator then backed up and into two additional headstones, before fleeing from the scene, police say.

The serpentine belt and pully became detached from the vehicle and were left at the scene, according to police.
