MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle accident occurred around 4:58 p.m. on January 31, on State Route 68, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the crash occurred as Stephanie S. Wright, 40, of New Bethlehem, was making a left hand turn at a solid green light from SR 68 onto Kane Drive.

As Wright was making the turn, Amanda L. Perillo, 23, of Shippenville, was traveling south in a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier on SR 68 through the intersection with Kane Drive. She had a solid green signal in the southbound direction, police say.

Perillo’s vehicle stuck Wright’s 2011 Nissan Altima in the 10 o’clock position as Wright was making the left turn onto Kane Drive, according to police.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were uninjured at the time of the crash.

Wright was cited with a traffic violation.
