Patricia G. “Pat” Hodges

hodgesPatricia G. “Pat” Hodges, age 72, of West Hickory, PA, passed away un-expectantly on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at her home.

She was born August 19, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Thomas B. and Carolyn J. (Stincic) Smith.

She retired from Evenflo-Crator of Tionesta, PA where she worked as a machine operator.

For the past 50 plus years she photographed, filmed, and videotaped the lives and events of her family and friends.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and sister to her family. She enjoyed camping, boating, and crocheting.

She kept her family and many of her friends warm with the many Afghans she crocheted for them from newborns to adults.

She also kept everyone warm with her sense of humor, her joke telling, and her very recognizable and infectious laugh.

On December 16, 1958 in Cleveland she married her loving husband Keith W. Hodges, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Keith W. Hodges Jr., Kirk A. Hodges and his wife Rebecca of Venus, PA. Two daughters, Theresa A. Hodges-Clayton of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Karla L. Hodges-Beach and her husband Derrick of West Hickory. Ten grandchildren. Patrick Clayton and his wife Sarah, Toni Clayton, Dillon Clayton and his fiancé Kelsey, all of Kentucky. K. Warren Hodges III of Elyria, Ohio, Danielle Hallas and her husband Chance of Tidioute, PA, Kristin Herman and her husband Chuck of Pittsburgh, PA, Kyle Beach and his wife Tierney of Tionesta. Alisha Hodges and her fiancé Mark of Oil City, PA, Erika Hodges of Clarion, PA, and Zachary Hodges of Venus. Eight great-grandchildren. A sister, Carol J. Martin of Avon, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Pat was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Smith and a son-in-law, Robert “Tony” Clayton.

There will be no public visitation; all services held will be private. Burial will be at Hodges Cemetery in Winfred, West Virginia. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman J. Wimer Funeral Home of Tionesta.
