Police Searching for Tionesta Turkey Burglar

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, a burglary occurred sometime between 4:00 p.m. January 31 and 12:10 p.m. February 2 at a residence in Tionesta, Forest County.

Police say the incident occurred when an unknown actor(s) arrived at a residence on Elm Street undetected.

The actor(s) gained entry into the apartment by opening the unlocked door.

Once inside, the actor(s) went through the cabinets in the kitchen and the refrigerator — removing frozen food from the freezer compartment.

Police say the actor(s) allegedly stole a turkey, hamburger, and other assorted frozen meat.

The actor(s) then fled the scene undetected.
