Two Injured in Toby Township Collision

TOBY TWP., Pa. (EYT) — Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Toby Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police say the accident happened around 8:59 a.m. on Cherry Run Road near its intersection with Mohr Lane.

According to police, Shon A. Bowser, 45, of Rimersburg, was traveling south on Cherry Run Road when a 2002 Hyundai Sonata operated by Jason B. Young, 39, of Rimersburg, pulled onto the roadway and into the path of his vehicle.

Bowser was unable to stop and collided with the front of Young’s 2014 Chevrolet Cruze.

Bowswer suffered minor injuries.

A passenger in Bowser’s vehicle, Donald W. Steele, 47, of Rimersburg, was transported to Clarion Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Young was not injured.

He was cited with a traffic violation, according to police.

Southern Clarion County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
