Hazel E. Firster, 91, formerly of Sawtown Road, Oil City, died at 10:30 am Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Golden Living Center-Oil City, where she had been a resident.

Born June 20, 1923 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Norman L. and Ellen M. Woods Culbertson.

On August 31, 1943, she married Theodore E. Firster, who preceded her in death on August 18, 1983.

Surviving are four sons, Robert Firster of Dayton OH, Bruce (Pat) Firster of Jacksonville FL, Richard (Kay) Firster of Adrian MI, and Donald (Shirley) Firster of Oil City; one daughter, Beverly (Jim) Patton of Franklin; 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Culbertson and two sisters, Ethel Stiller and Ruth Boyles.

Visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
