Larry-Gadley-1423476960Larry K. Gadley, 78 of Franklin passed away at 9:45 A.M. Saturday morning February 7, 2015 at his daughter’s residence after a courageous battle with many medical issues.

Born November 29, 1936 in Franklin, he was a son of the late Clyde and Alta Knight Gadley.
He was a 1954 graduate of Oil City High School.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1954-1957.

He was a truck driver all of his life and earned his 4 million mile pin.

Surviving are six children; Vivian Todd, Janus Lynn Williams, Rusty Gadley, Beverly Weingard, Stacy Jo Gadley, and Jeff Gadley; a sister, Mary Rupp; his previous two wives, Carol Morrison and Melody Blair; two special step sons, Ty Blair and Josh Blair, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters; Johnny Knight, Joanne Wurster, Eddie Knight, Albert “Sonny” Knight, Homer Knight, Jim Gadley and Gail Gadley.

There will be no visitation.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Funeral arrangement entrusted to Huff Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 312 West Park St. Franklin.

Memorial donations may be made in Larry’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project 301 Grant Street, Suite 900 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15219.
