Police Release Details of Suspected Rape of 6-Year-Old Girl by 14-Year-Old Male in Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are investigating a report of a suspected rape of a 6-year-old girl by a 14-year-old male that occurred at a residence in Clarion Township.

According to police, an investigation was initiated following a report from Clarion County Children Youth Services of suspected child abuse.

CYS reported that a 6-year-old girl had been sexually assaulted by a 14-year-old male sometime between April of 2011 and June of 2011, police say.

The investigation is ongoing.

No other information was provided.
