Harry D. Dinger.

Harry Daniel, died Thursday February 12, 2015 at Brookside Senior Living.

Born January 19, 1932, in KnoxDale, PA., Harry was the son of the late John Dinger and Myrtle Brown Dinger.

Harry Dinger was a veteran of WW11 serving in the US Army.

On December 21, 1940 he married the former Lois Naomi Geist, who preceded him in death on in January 1982.

He was employed worked as a coal miner, he had also worked on the gas wells, and retired from Bracken Construction in Sligo, Pa.

He was a member of the KnoxDale United Methodist Church, and of the Masonic Lodge Free and Accepted Masons in Punxsutawney, Pa.

Harry is survived by one daughter; Sandra J. Himes of Brookville, Pa., and one Daughter-in-Law; Beverly Dinger of Brookville, Pa., 7 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Lois Naomie Geist, one Brother; Everett Dinger, five Sisters; Bernice Keatley, Lucille Eshbaugh, Mary Switzer, Hilda McAninch, Veda Calderwood, one son; Jay Dinger, and a close friend, Alice Moore.

Visitation hours will be Monday, February 16, 2015 10 AM to 1 PM at the McKinney Funeral Home.

The service will be Monday February 16, at 1 p.m.

The service will be officiated by The Rev. Timothy McConville
