Car Slams into Tree in Toby Township, Rimersburg Woman Injured

TOBY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Zanot Road, 2215 feet east of Miller Farm Road, in Toby Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 8:00 a.m. on February 12, 31-year-old Oriana R. Pawluk, of Rimersburg, was traveling westbound on Zanot Road and lost control of her 1994 Jeep Cherokee on an ice and snow-covered roadway.

According to police, the vehicle drove off the north berm of the road and dropped over a steep embankment for 20 feet then impacted a tree.

Pawluk suffered minor injuries; she was using a seat belt.

Rimersburg Volunteer Fire Department and Southern Clarion County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
