MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 9:08 a.m. on February 16, a one-car accident occurred on the ramp of Exit 62, Interstate 80 westbound, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 19-year-old Isaiah D. Gearhart, of Tionesta, was traveling east on SR 68 and took the I-80 ramp.

Police say Gearhart’s 2008 Hyundai Elantra slid through the yield controlled intersection and across the ramp. The front end of the car impacted the guard rail at the north berm of the ramp.

He was charged with a traffic violation.
