Car Crashes into Guide Rail on Route 322

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a one car crash occurred on February 18 around 2:21 p.m. on State Route 322, in Clarion Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix left the north side of the roadway, approximately 853 feet east of old Route 322, and struck a guiderail.

The vehicle continued traveling approximately 125 feet in a westerly direction before coming to rest on the north side of the berm facing southeast.

The impact caused moderate damage to the front bumper and grill.

The name of the driver was not released.

He/or she was charged with a traffic violation.

No further information was released by PSP Clarion.
