State Police Respond to Route 36 Crash

ALLEGHENY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Franklin responded to a one-vehicle accident yesterday on Route 36 in Allegheny Township, Venango County.

Police say the crash occurred around 5:58 a.m. when the driver of a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer moved over on the roadway for a truck passing in the opposite direction.

The vehicle was subsequently pulled into a snow bank.

Barnett’s Towing pulled the vehicle out of the snow bank.

The driver was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.

Police did not release the name of the driver.

No further details were provided.
