Terry O. Kriebel

OI1307044029_TerryKribel001Terry O. Kriebel,67, of Parker passed away at his residence of natural causes following a period of twenty years as a stroke victim.

Born in Dutch Hill, Clarion Co., Pa. on March 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Lee and Alice Everett Kriebel.

Following graduation from A-C Valley School – Emlenton Building, Class of 1965, he entered the U. S. Army serving from 1966 to 1968. He served twenty two months of duty at Ft. Carson, Colorado. He was a member of the American Legion of Parker.

Terry worked for the former Glass Containers at Parker and Witco Chemical at Petrolia. In 1970, he began employment with Koppers (now Indespec) at Petrolia, where he was employed for twenty six years until becoming disabled due to a stroke in 1995.

He attended Parker Presbyterian Church, where he married his wife, the former Kathleen Slagle, on Dec. 19, 1970. His proudest accomplishment was that of rearing his sons and enjoying his grandchildren.

Terry enjoyed hunting, camping, caring for his home and yard, and being accompanied by his chocolate lab, Chloe.

In addition to his wife Kathy, he is survived by two sons and wives, Darrin (Norma) Kriebel of Punxsutawney and Brandon (Cara) Kriebel of Butler; four grandchildren: Micah, Maddi, Connor, and Raegan Kriebel; one sister: Doretha Rhodes of Lebanon, Ind., and Rodney Kriebel of Parker, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister: Arvella Horner and four brothers: Junior, Bobby, Ray, and Bruce Kriebel.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So Wayne Ave., Parker, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AMWednesday. Interment will follow at Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.

Members of American Legion and VFW Posts of Parker will conduct memorial services at 10:45 AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
