Small Games of Chance Training Set for March 26

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission has released notification to the public and those serving on boards, members of booster clubs, social clubs, and nonprofit organizations, that training on the rules, regulations, and laws regarding the Small Games of Chance license will be conducted at the Park Inn in Clarion on Thursday, March 26, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Pennsylvania Local Option Small Games of Chance Act authorizes certain eligible organizations to conduct limited types of gambling. This training will be facilitated by Lieutenant James Jones, Western Section Commander, PA State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement

The training will cover the legalities in regards to gambling and fundraising.

Dinner will be provided free of charge.
