CLARION COUNTY, Pa. — PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restriction that was in place for Interstate 80 in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Due to the winter storm impacting the region, the speed limit was reduced to 45 mph on Interstate 80 in Mercer, Venango, Clarion, and Jefferson counties. All speeds are restored to their usual posted limits.

PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
