Firefighters Extinguish Electrical Fire at South Street Residence


CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Firefighters responded to the scene of a structure fire Monday at a residence along South Street in Clarion.

The fire at 533 South Street, a two-story residence, was reported around 9:10 p.m.

A Clarion Fire & Hose Co. firefighter on the scene told exploreClarion.com that the cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.

The fire, which originated in the rear of the home, was extinguished around 9:50 p.m.

Crews remained on the scene until around 10:40 p.m.

Initial reports indicate that the house sustained minimal damage.

Clarion Hospital EMS also responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported.
