Driver Rolls Vehicle on Miola Road in Highland Township

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to police, a one-vehicle accident occurred around 2:42 p.m. on March 1, on Miola Road, in Highland Township, Clarion County.

Police say the crash occurred as a known driver was traveling north on Miola Road, approximately 1,000 feet east of Maxwell Road.

The driver, traveling in a Ford Focus, failed to negotiate a left turn in the road, and the car went off the east berm of the roadway and rolled onto its left side, according to police.

The vehicle came to a final rest approximately 10 feet east of Miola Road.

It is unknown whether the driver was injured in the collision.

Police say the vehicle sustained no damage.

The driver was cited with a traffic violation.

The name of the driver was not released.
