Police Release Details on Money Stolen in Monroe Township

MONROE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are investigating a Theft that occurred at Kwik Fill on Route 68, in Monroe Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 7:30 p.m. on February 19, a 53-year-old Clarion woman left an envelope of cash sitting on the counter at the Kwik Fill convenience store while she was inside making a purchase.

The woman returned later that evening looking for the envelope and discovered it had been taken.

Police say the suspect is a known, 25-year-old Clarion woman.

The name of the suspect was not released.

The investigation continues.
