CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say a two-vehicle collision occurred around 4:44 p.m. March 2, on State Route 257, in Cranberry Township, Venango County.

According to police, the crash occurred as Jane E. Croyle, 53, of Shippenville, turned right out of the Surgery and Laser Center parking lot onto SR 257.

Croyle’s 2011 Subaru Outback entered the path of a 2010 Chevrolet HHR driven by Juanita Klimovich, 35, of Titusville, police say.

Klimovich was unable to stop her vehicle before impacting the rear-end of Croyle’s Subaru Outback, according to police.

The Subaru Outback sustained functional damage, according to police.

Croyle and her passenger — Robert C. Croyle, 60, of Shippenville — were both wearing seat belts and were uninjured.

Klimovich’s Chevrolet sustained disabling damage to the front end and was towed from the scene by Minich’s Towing.

Police say Klimovich suffered minor injuries in the crash.

She was transported by Community Ambulance to UPMC Northwest Hospital for treatment.

Croyle was cited with a traffic violation.
