STRATTANVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-car crash occurred in Strattanville, Clarion County.

According to police, around 12:35 p.m. on February 15, the crash occurred as Colleen M. Malesky, 33, of Pittsburgh, was attempting to negotiate a right curve on State Route 322.

Malesky allegedly lost control of her 2005 Hyundai Elantra, crossed the double yellow line, and traveled into the oncoming lane.

Delores E. Beers, 80, of Strattanville, approached the turn from the opposite direction on SR 322, and Malesky’s vehicle struck the front driver’s side of Beers’ 2004 Buick Lesabre, say police.

After impact, Malesky’s vehicle came to a final rest in the eastbound lane and Beers’ vehicle came to a rest in the westbound lane.

According to police, both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Malesky was uninjured in the crash.

Police say Beers and her passenger — Larry Bowser, 71, of Strattanville — both suffered moderate injuries as a result of the collision.

Malesky was cited with a traffic violation.
