Weather-Related Rollover Crash on I-80, Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 7:45 p.m. on March 3, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, in Clarion Township.

According to police, a 2012 Ford F150 pickup was traveling in the left eastbound lane of I-80 and failed to negotiation a turn.

Police say the driver lost control of his pickup and traveling into the median, striking a ditch, then rolled over. It came to a rest on its roof approximately 18 feet north of the eastbound lanes, according to police.

It sustained moderate damage to the roof and bed.

Police say the driver was not cited due to road conditions.

No other information was provided.

The name of the driver was not released.
