33-Year-Old Clarion Man Attempts to Make Prohibited Purchase of Firearms

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police are investigating the attempted purchase of two firearms that occurred on March 11 by an individual who was prohibited from doing so.

According to police, a known 33-year-old man from Clarion, who was prohibited from purchasing firearms, attempted to purchase two guns from a business in Paint Township, Clarion County.

The investigation is ongoing.

The name of the suspect was not released.

No further information was provided by police.
