Robert J. Behr, 51, of North Collins, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 13th at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.

Born July 16, 1963 in Pittsburgh, Robert was the son of Carl and Lorraine Meyer Behr. He was married to Kathleen Quinn who survives. Bob enjoyed hunting, spending time outdoors, and especially cherished the times he spent with his family.

In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his mother, Lorraine Behr, and her fiance’, John Dechant; and his children, Christine Behr (Jarad Greenlee, fiance’), Ashley (Kiefer Laboy) Behr, and Bridget Behr.

Robert was the brother-in-law of Michael (Barbara) Quinn, Thomas (Joanne) Quinn, Patricia Quinn, Mary Beth (Brian) Gasuik, Joanne (Richard) Fisher, and John (Jill) Quinn. He is additionally survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Carl “Butch” Behr.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 19th at 12:00 noon at the First Baptist Church of Titusville (216 North Perry Street, Titusville). Family will receive friends at the Church from 11 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at the Cooperstown Cemetery.

The Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin will be handling local arrangements.
