Steven E. Trout

troutSteven E. Trout, 67, of 107 S. Elm St. Tionesta, PA., died unexpectedly Friday March 13, 2015 at his home following an extended illness.

Born Nov. 29, 1947 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Eugene & Edna “Betty” KresinskeTrout.

Steve was a 1965 graduate of Venango Christian High School.

Mr. Trout had served in the United States Navy as a Boatswain 3rd Class from 1965-1968.

He was married on Sept. 22, 1975 in Tionesta to the former Susan L. Cozad and she survives.

Steve had been employed by Local 66 as an equipment operator.

He had been a life member of the Oil City V.F.W. and former member of the Fryburg Sportsman Club.

Steve had belonged to Ducks Unlimited, Bass Masters, the NRA and the National Wild Turkey Foundation.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children — Neil C. Trout & his wife Bethany of Fairhaven, VT; Wendy Schwab & her husband Brian of Germantown, MD; Patrick Downing & his wife Dottie of Utica; Keri Carll & her husband Michael of Oil City, seven grandchildren — Brenna, Arthur, Shannon, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Taylor and Kiera, two Great Grandchildren also survive.

He is also survived by a sister, Roberta Fulton & her husband Robert of Ruckersville, VA; a niece, Melissa French & her husband David; and a nephew, Jon Fulton & his wife Nikki.

Friends will be received from 3:30-5:30 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 P.M. with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, Presiding.

Military Honors will be accorded by the V.E.T.S.Honor Guard.
