Jeanne BeebeJeanne A. Beebe, 84, of 354 Toolhouse Road, Seneca, died at 11:55 pm, Friday, March 20, 2015, at Sugar Creek Station, after a declining period of health.

Born May 24, 1930 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Naomi Radaker Morrison.

Jeanne was a 1948 graduate of Cranberry High School.

As a nurse, Jeanne enjoyed a 40 year career, graduating from the Oil City Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. She was then employed at the Oil City Hospital, St. Anne’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH and lastly as an office nurse for Dr. John T. Rightor for 17 years before retiring in 1991.

Jeanne was a faithful, 50 year member of the Heckathorn United Methodist Church, singing in the choir, serving on numerous boards and committees and participating in a number of bible study groups.

On March 21, 1953 she married Jack A. Beebe, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Michelle (David) Dumpe of Northfield OH, Susie (Ed) Keefer of Rehoboth Beach DE, and Lisa Harry of Seneca; 8 grandchildren, Jarrod Dumpe of San Antonio, TX, Megan Kenworthy of Los Angeles, CA, Jackie Keefer of Rehoboth Beach, DE, James Keefer of South Bend, IN, Miriam Keefer of Rehoboth Beach, DE, Seth Harry of Seneca, PA, Katherine Harry of Seneca, PA, and Shay Harry of Seneca, PA; and 4 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are one sister, Judy McCarthy of Sandy Lake; two brothers, Donald Morrison of Tucson AZ and Robert Morrison of Longmont CO; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marlene Thureau and Eleanor Shotts.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday March 24 at Morrison Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday morning at the Heckathorn United Methodist Church, 369 Heckathorn Church Road, Seneca, from 10-11 am.

A memorial service will follow immediately at the church, officiated by the Rev. Rob Kifer.

Interment will be in Heckathorn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Heckathorn United Methodist Church or Sugarcreek Auxiliary.
