Russell W. Kunselman, 65, of Ringgold, PA, died Tuesday March 24, 2015 at his home, and was surrounded by family.

Born November 7, 1949, in Brookville, PA., he was the son of the late Fred Gelnette and Sara Kunselman.

Russell was a 1969 graduate of Brookville Area High School. He was married to Sally Ann Cable on August 10, 1991 in Walston, PA.

He was employed by Miller Welding and Machine Company as a welder and burning machine operator for 33 years. Russ was a member of the First Church of God in Punxsutawney. He enjoyed fishing and painting rocks.

Russ is survived by a son Jeremey (Lynn) Kunselman of Brookville; three daughters, Dana M (Scott) Pikula of Port Huron, MI., Tonya B. (Connie Trayer) Cable of Summerville, Shelby L. (Dale) Yeaney of Brookville; a sister, Evelyn (Paul) Ross of Corsica; a step mother, Phoebe Gelnette of Coolspring, PA; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and his three dogs, Alex, Cody, and Buddy.

Along with his parents Russell is preceded in death by his wife Sally.

His family will receive friends on Friday March 27, 2015 from 6 — 8 p.m. and Saturday March 28 from 10 — 11 a.m. at the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.

The funeral service will follow at 11 am with Rev. William Saxman officiating.
