Emlenton Teen Injured in One-Vehicle Rollover Crash on Route 338

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred this morning on State Route 338, approximately 1/10 mile south of Wentlings Corners Road, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say around 7:24 a.m. on March 27, a 17-year-old Emlenton female was traveling north on SR 338. While negotiating a right hand curve in the roadway, her 2000 Jeep Wrangler began to skid.

The teen lost control of the vehicle, leaving approximately 90 feet of yaw marks from the northbound lane across the southbound lane before striking an embankment with the vehicle’s 11 o’clock position, according to police.

The Jeep then rolled approximately 18 feet across the embankment before striking the roadway in the southbound lane, police say.

It then traveled approximately 10 feet, coming to a rest sideways across both lanes of travel, according to police.

Knox Ambulance transported the teen to Clarion Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

She was using a seat belt.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
