North Clarion Elementary Art Show to be Held April 11

TIONESTA, Pa. (EYT) — The North Clarion P.T.O. will hold its annual Art show on Saturday, April 11, from 11:00 to 3:00 pm in the North Clarion Elementary School.

The public is invited for an “Artfully fun” afternoon.

Student art from grades pre-kindergarten through grade six will be on display.

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet Guest Artist, Frederick Clark, Sculptor and Potter, from The Gallery of the Burning Well in Brookville, demonstrating on the potter’s wheel, displaying and talking about his art.

Entertainment will be provided by Mike Zaffuto’s “Rock N Roll Pet Store Kids Show”, and the North Clarion Elementary Chorus and Band, directed by Mrs. Samantha Schmader.

Tie-dye a bandanna in the Art Room with Samantha Carson for a $2 fee for materials.

Free Make-it Take-it Activities will be held in the Cafetorium with Keystone SMILES/AmeriCorps, Wildflower Garden Club, Clarion County Promise/North Clarion Family Center, and Riverview IU6 Early Intervention Preschool Program.

There will also be a large Chinese Auction.

Food and soft drinks will be available.
