State Police Calls: Burglary, DUI, Harassment, Assault, Criminal Mischief

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) Clarion-based State Police responded to the following calls:

Clarion Township Burglary

Clarion-based State Police say a burglary occurred sometime between 3:00 p.m. on March 23 and 6:00 p.m. on March 24 at a location on Bauer Road in Clarion Township.

According to police, an unknown perpetrator(s) gained access to a Clarion woman’s garage by breaking a window.

Once inside the garage, the perpetrator(s) stole a blue Yamaha YZ125 motorcycle.

The investigation is ongoing.

Brookville Man Arrested for DUI, Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle

According to Clarion-based State Police, a Brookville man has been arrested on multiple charges — including DUI and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle — following an incident that occurred around 6:35 a.m. on March 25, in Beaver Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the incident occurred when a known 53-year-old Brookville man was found on a road near Shannondale behind the wheel of a vehicle he was supposed to be repairing at a shop in Brookville.

The vehicle belongs to a known DuBois man.

The suspect was taken into custody on the suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

He was then transported to PSP Clarion for processing and was remanded to the Jefferson County Jail on a probation violation warrant.

According to police, the suspect is facing the following charges:

– Unauthorized use of automobiles and other vehicles, Misdemeanor 2
– Driving under the influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance 2nd Offense, Misdemeanor
– Driving while operating privilege is suspended or revoked (DUI related), Summary
– Driving without a license, Summary
– Use of dealer registration plates, Summary

The name of the suspect was not released.

State Police Investigate Incident of Failure to Comply with Registration of Sexual Offenders Requirements

According to Clarion-based State Police, an investigation is being conducted as of March 30 into a known perpetrator who failed to make updates required by Megan’s Law.

The perpetrator lives at a residence in Clarion Township.

The name of the perpetrator was not released.

Harassment in Izzy Village

Clarion-based State Police say a 24-year-old Strattanville man has been charged with Harassment after an incident that allegedly occurred around 10:30 a.m. on March 30, in Izzy Village, in Clarion Township.

According to police, James Kinzey, 24, of Strattanville, allegedly punched a 30-year-old Strattanville man in the face, causing minor injury.

Kinzey was subsequently charged with Harassment.

No other information was provided.

Clarion Township Criminal Mischief

According to Clarion-based State Police, two teens are suspected of causing damage to a vehicle sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. on March 29, in Clarion Township.

Police say Dalton James Nick, 19, of Strattanville, and Cody Tyler Aaron, 19, of Clarion, are suspected of allegedly causing a large amount of damage to a black Ford Ranger belonging to a 17-year-old male victim.

No further details were released.

Simple Assault in Redbank Township

Clarion-based State Police say an incident of Simple Assault occurred around 7:43 p.m. on March 13, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the incident occurred when a known, 24-year-old New Bethlehem woman began arguing with a known, 24-year-old New Bethlehem man at a residence on Brookville Street.

The woman scratched the victim’s face during a scuffle, police say.

She then left the residence on foot, according to police.

The name of the woman was not released.

Criminal Mischief in Toby Township

According to Clarion-based State Police, an incident of Criminal Mischief occurred sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 12:08 p.m. on March 26 at a residence on Dunlop Hill Road in Toby Township, Clarion County.

Police say between the above times an unknown perpetrator(s) allegedly damaged two victims’ mailboxes and fled undetected.

The victims were a 64-year-old Rimersburg woman and a 55-year-old Rimersburg woman.

Clarion Township Harassment

Clarion-based State Police say an incident of Harassment occurred around 11:45 p.m. on March 27 in Clarion Township.

Police say 25-year-old James Drake, of Clarion, and 23-year-old Jasmine Asuzu, of Clarion, allegedly drove past a 25-year-old Clarion woman’s residence repeatedly and yelled threatening statements after being told to stay away.

No further details were released.
