Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 322; Knox Woman Injured

ASHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a two-vehicle collision occurred around 12:15 p.m. March 30, on State Route 322, in Ashland Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the accident occurred as Misty D. Cain, 32, of Knox, was traveling east on SR 322 behind Vernon P. Hilyer, 52, of Clarion.

Police say Cain failed to notice when Hilyer slowed his 2007 Chevrolet Impala for traffic turning in front of him.

The front of Cain’s 2001 Mazda Protege impacted the rear of Hilyer’s vehicle.

Cain was not wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injures.

Hilyer was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured in the crash.

Cain was cited with a traffic violation.
