Christina M. McNeish

Christina M. McNeish, 67, a resident of 131 Maple Grove Circle, Franklin died quietly at 3:18 AM Thursday, April 2, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family; following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 10, 1947 in Pittsburgh, a beloved daughter of the late: Walter and Stella Mochio Kurywchak.

She was a graduate of Moniteau High School.

Chris enjoyed the outdoors, most especially the fishing trips she went on with her sister, Donna. She enjoyed gardening and raising orchids, crocheting and bowling in her earlier years. She was happiest as a homemaker, and especially cherished the fun times she was able to spend with her family.

She is survived by her husband: Clyde L. McNeish, Sr. of Butler, two daughters: Raegan Phenicie and her husband Donald of Franklin and Tammy Simpson and her husband William of Polk; and by four sons: Brian McNeish and his wife Nancy of West Sunbury, Clyde L. McNeish, Jr. and his wife Jenny of Hilliards, Michael McNeish and his wife Stacey and Kenneth McNeish, all of Butler.

Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law: Samuel Tiche of Boyers; in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Donna Tiche.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Family and friends may call Monday 4-5 PM in the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk Street, Franklin.

A memorial service, in celebration of her life will be held Monday at 5 PM in the funeral home with Reverend Roy Gearhart, pastor of the Galloway United Methodist Church, officiating.
