OIL CITY, Pa. (EYT) — An Oil City teen has been arrested after threatening to get a gun and shoot everyone at Oil City High School last week.

Around 2:24 p.m. on March 31, Oil City Police arrested a 14-year-old female juvenile at the Oil City High School for Terroristic Threats and other charges.

Police say she began yelling to the teaching staff and other students that she was going to get a gun and shoot everyone, then shoot up the school.

She was arrested,removed from the school by police, and committed to Pathways Juvenile Detention Center by juvenile probation. She is awaiting court.

Police credit the high school teaching staff for quickly removing the student from the classroom away from other students.

At no time were any students in danger, according to police.
