TOBY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Clarion are investigating a case of Simple Assault that is alleged to have occurred late last week.

Police say the incident took place at an undisclosed location along Cherry Run Road when a known 27-year-old Fairmount City man took his belt off and whipped a known 22-year-old Rimersburg several times across his butt and back.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on April 3rd around 4 p.m.

Authorities have not released the name of the suspect.

The investigation is ongoing.
