obit-pic-83x90 Lawrence “Larry” Williams, 67, of New Kensington passed away Friday morning April 10, 2015, at his residence. He was a former resident of W. Elm St. in Titusville.

Larry was born on July 17, 1947, in Titusville to the late Kenneth and Theodora Jones Williams.

He was a 1965 graduate of Pleasantville High School, and a 1981 graduate of Youngstown State University with a Business Administration degree.

Larry enlisted in the US Army October, 1969 having served during the Vietnam War from November 3, 1970 through October 31, 1971.

He was employed as the Chief Negotiator for Right of Way Department with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Larry was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Titusville, the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW, and VFW Post 92 on New Kensington, PA.

Larry was a sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and competitive shooting.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife, Katrina Leach Williams of New Kensington; Step-son, Brandon Zoldak and wife Melissa of Leechburg; granddaughter Nevaeh Zoldak of Leechburg; a nephew, Jason Williams and wife Connie of Pleasantville; a niece, Michelle Hale and husband Daniel of Springfield, VA; 3 great nephews, Andrew Hale, Taylor and Troy Williams.

He was preceded in death by his wife Sally A. Williams on September 7, 2002; and a brother, Alan E. Williams in 2013.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home 303 N. Washington St., Titusville on Tuesday, April 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Pleasantville, PA,
