BARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say an incident of criminal mischief occurred on April 16 at a residence in Barnett Township, Forest County.

According to police, sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on April 16, a 27-year-old Clarington man requested that his ex-girlfriend go to his house located at the intersection of Blue Ridge Road and Maple Street to put a package inside that he had delivered.

The 41-year-old female suspect used a key that the victim had given her to enter the residence and put the package inside the house, police say.

While inside, the suspect spilled water on the kitchen floor and counters and dumped the victim’s personal belongings throughout the bedroom, according to police.

The suspect confessed to her actions, police say.

The victim did not want the suspect charged, according to police.

The name of the suspect was not released.
