Woodcarving Class Set for April 24 — 26 at Sawmill Center

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) — A three-day woodcarving class will be held April 24, 25, and 26 at the Sawmill Center for the Arts in Cooksburg.

The class will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.

Veteran instructor Brian Brubaker will lead the multi-level carving class.

Participants will have the option to choose from a selection of several projects to complete during the session.

Topics that will be discussed throughout the session include wood and tool selection, pattern, resizing, finishing, and presentation.

No prior experience is necessary.

Tools will be provided.

The price of the class is $100.00 plus the cost of materials.

A 50 percent deposit of the class fee is required.
