Police: Knox Man Accused of DUI on Route 338, Beaver Township

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a Knox man has been accused of DUI on State Route 338, near Huston Avenue, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say 32-year-old Devon Scott Thorpe, of Knox, was stopped for a traffic violation around 7:10 p.m. on April 4.

He was allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol, according to police.

He was arrested and charged with the following offenses:

– DUI: General Impairment/Incompetent of Driving Safely — 1st Offense, Misdemeanor
– Careless Driving, Summary
– No Headlights, Summary

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. on May 5 in front of Magisterial District Judge Amy Long Turk.
