PERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police have released information surrounding a one-vehicle crash in Perry Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the accident happened on April 22 around 5:00 p.m. when 21-year-old Elliot W. Reinsel, of Mayport, lost control of his vehicle while negotiating a left turn on SR-536.

Reinsel’s 1998 Nissan 200SX left the roadway and rotated counter-clockwise 90 degrees before crashing into two pine trees.

Reinsel, who was wearing a safety belt, escaped injury in the crash.

He was cited with a lane violation.
