Hattie Hetrick107Hattie Hetrick, 85, of Belgiumtown, PA, died Sunday April 26, 2015 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville, PA.

Born September 1, 1929, in Rose Twp, Jefferson Co, PA., she was the daughter of the late Glen and Beulah Kline Swineford.

Hattie was married to Ray P. Hetrick on February 2, 1947 in Brookville, PA., he preceded her in death.

She was employed as a factory worker at Sylvania, and Fairbrook Mfg. Co., and retired as a custodian at the Brookville High School.

Hattie was a member of the EUM Church in Brookville. She was also a member of Eastern Star.

She enjoyed bingo, country music, shopping, socializing, and loved her children and grandchildren.

Hattie is survived by a son; Steve Hetrick and wife Brenda of Country Club Road, Brookville, a daughter; Vickey Hetrick and husband Larry of Central Ave, Brookville, a sister; JoAnn Swineford of Brookfield, Ohio, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Hattie is preceded in death an infant son, Tommy Allen Hetrick, two brothers, Billy and Danny Swineford, and two sisters; Betty Dinger and MaeJean Plyler.

A memorial service will be held at the EUM Church at 30 S. White Street in Brookville on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 11:30 am with a luncheon to follow.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.

Per the family’s request, memorial donations may be made to EUM Church, 30 S. White Street, Brookville, PA 15825.

Interment was in the Brookville Cemetery, Brookville Borough, Jefferson County.
