ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident occurred on Route 36, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, around 11:45 a.m. on April 18, 41-year-old Russell E. Price, of Brookville, was traveling southbound on SR 36, and his 1988 Honda Shadow traveled off the western side of the roadway for a distance of approximately 15 feet and impacted an embankment.

After striking the embankment, the motorcycle re-entered SR 36 and fell onto its right side and slid approximately 20 feet before coming to a final rest in the southbound lane of the roadway, police say.
