Car Slams into Two Deer in Clarion Township

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a car versus deer accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, in Clarion Township.

Police say around 2:38 a.m. on April 27, 34-year-old Shana R. Gyure, of Akron, OH, was traveling west on I-80 when her 2004 Mazda 6 struck two deer standing on the roadway.

The car then struck the guard rail and came to a rest on the north shoulder, according to police.

Gyure was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The car was towed from the scene.
