Teen Hospitalized for Alcohol Poisoning, Placed on Ventilator; Four Charged with Underage Drinking

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say on May 2, an incident of underage drinking occurred at a campground, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the following individuals allegedly consumed alcohol while at the campground:

  • a known, 15-year juvenile male, of Eau Claire
  • a known, 15-year-old juvenile male, of Petrolia
  • 19-year-old Calvin Joseph Louttit, of Corsica
  • 20-year-old Bryant Spencer Butler, of Butler

Police say an investigation allegedly determined that Louttit brought the alcohol to the campground.

It has yet to be determined where he got the alcohol, according to police.

One of the juveniles was hospitalized due to alcohol poisoning and placed on a ventilator, police say.

On May 3, Clarion Hospital advised that the juvenile was “doing okay and would be released after 4:00 p.m.”

No other information was released.
