CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion Borough Cleanup Day will be held on Saturday, May 16. at the Clarion Borough Public Works.
Collection will begin at 6:30 a.m. that morning and run until 11:30 a.m.
Dumpsters will be available at the Public Works Department for residents to bring their items to. The dumpsters will be removed promptly at 11:30 a.m.
Proof of residency in the form of a driver’s license or tax bill will be required.
Items that will NOT be accepted are as follows:
– Items containing Freon including freezers, refrigerators, air conditions, and de-humidifiers
– Concrete products or construction materials
– Tires
– Batteries
– Paint cans unless they are empty and dry with lids off
– Buckets with unidentified materials
– Household garbage
– Brush or yard waste
– Chemicals
– Electronic items, such as cell phones, TVs, computers (This is due to a chance in PA law. These items must now be recycled.)
