Marion S. Miller

Marion S. Miller, 84, of New Bethlehem, died Thursday afternoon, May 7, 2015, at the Penn Highlands Brookville Hospital.

Born December 3, 1930 in New Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Ida Mae Sayers. She married Wallace B. Miller on March 22, 1951 and he preceded her in death on July 23, 2011.

Marion graduated from New Bethlehem High School in 1948. She worked as a teller for the First Seneca Bank and First National Bank. She was also the secretary for the New Bethlehem Water Authority (RVMA). She truly enjoyed working with the public until she retired in 1982 due to health reasons. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Bethlehem and Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 230 in New Bethlehem.

She is survived by a daughter, Jana S. Alba and her husband Marco of Straham, New Hampshire, two sons, Gregory A. Miller and his wife Terri of Mayport (Shannondale) and District Judge Jeffrey C. Miller of New Bethlehem.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home with Pastor Daniel P. George officiating. Interment will be in the Shannondale Union Cemetery, Redbank Township, Clarion Couinty.
