Suspect Smashes Vehicle’s Window, Steals Cash in Perry Township

PERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a theft from a motor vehicle occurred in a parking area under Parker Bridge, in Perry Township, Clarion County.

Police say sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on May 9, an unknown perpetrator(s) smashed the passenger side window out of the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse which contained $100.00 and her checkbook with checks through Farmers National Bank.

The victim is a 31-year-old Ellwood City woman.

No other information was provided.
