Christine Carol Wiant, 57, of New Bethlehem, died early Monday morning, May 11, 2015, at her sister’s home where she resided.

Born January 6, 1958 in Kittanning, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Josephine (Schall) Wiant.

She is survived by a sister, Kathy Schrecengost and her husband Bobby of New Bethlehem, five nieces and nephews, Lannie and his wife Jani Wiant, Jr. of New York, Leslie Wiant of New Bethlehem, Alicia Walters and Michael Fox of Climax, Randall Walters and his wife Natalie of Rimersburg, Mason Schrecengost and his wife Heather of Rimersburg. Also surviving are eleven nieces and nephews, Sydney Wiant of New York, Codee Young, Isabella Young, Morgan Fox, Maria Fox all of New Bethlehem, Noah, Leah, Riley and Emma Schrecengost, Austin Walters, Avery Walters all of Rimersburg.

She was preceded in death by both parents, and a brother Lannie Wiant, Sr.

The family will be holding private services.
