MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – The Mega Millions® and Powerball® multi-state games now offer jackpots totaling $294 million for their drawings on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday, May 19, rolled to an estimated annuity value of $173 million or $106 million cash after last Friday’s drawing. On Saturday, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday, May 20, rolled to an estimated annuity value of $121 million or $75.7 million cash.

One Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in Lancaster County for the Saturday, May 16, drawing. The winning ticket correctly matched all five white balls, 24-29-38-48-52, but not the red Powerball 32, to earn a $1 million prize, less 25 percent federal withholding. The selling retailer, Turkey Hill, 482 Royer Drive, Lancaster, will receive a $5,000 bonus.

The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before the winner can be identified. Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.

The Lottery encourages the holder of the winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery’s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters.

More than 24,700 other prize-winning Powerball tickets were sold statewide for the May 16 drawing, including one winner of $10,000. Players should check every ticket, every time.

The Pennsylvania Lottery awarded more than $65.9 million in prizes to winners across Lancaster County and contributed nearly $36 million to programs serving the county’s older residents in the 2013-14 fiscal year.
