Two Escape Injury in I-80 Rollover Accident

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 80 West, near mile marker 51.5, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

Police say that around 12:13 p.m. on May 16, 25-year-old Raytheon M. Johnson, of Garland, TX, was traveling westbound on I-80 in the right lane when he began merging his 2015 International Harvester Pro Star into the left lane.

Johnson’s vehicle impacted a 2009 Hyundai Elantra, driven by 51-year-old Lee M. McCracken, traveling in the left lane. The impact caused McCracken to leave the roadway, impact a tree, and roll over.

Johnson pulled his truck off the roadway into the northern shoulder after the impact.

Neither driver was injured in the crash and bother were wearing seat belts.

Johnson was charged with a traffic violation.
