TIONESTA, Pa. — Caleb Kiefer and Nick Popoleo will represent Forest Area School District at the 2015 PIAA Track and Field Championship at Shippensburg University on May 22 and 23.

At the District 9 championship meet at Kane, Kiefer won the District Title in the 800m run while Popoleo earned a 2nd place medal in the Triple Jump, earning themselves a spot at states.

Mikaela Bean placed third in the 100m and 300m hurdles.

Popoleo also placed third in long jump. Rich Work also placed sixth in the shot put.

Forest Area students participate in a cooperative athletic agreement with North Clarion for Track & Field.
